Kórnik is situated in a glacial valley which stretches over 20 km and consists of 9 joint lakes. The town of Kórnik is favourably located at the important junction which is the meeting point of two roads, one leading from Poznań to Katowice the other from Poznań to Wrocław. Kórnik is also located at the outskirts of Poznań agglomeration which is the most important centre of business, culture and science in western Poland.
