Our buildings are classified as the best class of relicts. They are dated from 1897. Those times the industry architecture was based mainly on red brick. Timber used to be delivered by the brick- fields from the neighbourhood especially from Kawęczyn, Marki, Pustelnik. Cast- iron roses, which survived, make the buildings look more attractive. Very important element, which can be, called the work of art. is the chimney. It is located at the back of the old rectification building.
What can show that the time is constantly passing and the factory is constantly changing are insulators. They were produced in all annexed territories of Poland. As the brick work of art. We can mention windows of the canteen. Those types of decorations were the labels of the builder. Facing brick was used to decorate walls. At the end of 1890 it was a very popular method of brick decorating. It used to be the builder’s sign.
Nowadays we specialise in producing high-grade products (95 per cent of the whole production). Warsaw Vodka Factory Koneser for today produces pure vodka: Metropolis, Warszawska, Legenda, Zagłoba, Planet, Koneser, Bycza, Targowa, Winiak Klubowy, Oleńka, Kniejówka and spirits.
Our factory employs 126 people. 60 of them work in the production section rest of them work in management and sales departments.
Our Warsaw Vodka Factory "Koneser" has been working since 1897. According to “Gorzelnik” newspaper it was the first Warsaw factory in which electricity was. Streets surround this factory: Ząbkowska, Białostocka, Nieporęcka and Markowska. It is situated on 50 000 m˛.
When in 1928 Polski Monopol Spirytusowy was established our factory become the most famous one on the alcohol market. In this place were firstly produced such vodka like Wyborowa, Luksusowa etc. They are still very popular in Poland and abroad. |
